The cache is located along the Haldimand Chippewa Trail. The Haldimand Chippewa Trail is a new extension of the Trans Canada Trail.
While on this trail you will notice several "no trespassing" signs. We have been in contact with the Haldimand County Community Development & Partnerships Manager and have been granted permission to place caches beyond these signs, but not as far as the farmer's fence lines. Please be respectful and do not trespass into the nearby farmer's fields.
The trail is excellent for hiking, jogging, biking, and for strollers. Parking can be found at the trailheads on Unity Road or Haldimand Road 66.
Moon's Pony and Wagon Rides have been around for years. The UltraKids used to ride on the ponies when visiting local fairs and events. Mr. Moon was even nice enough to give one of our old vehicles a boost when we were stranded along this road. You will likely see some ponies and horses in the nearby field.
The cache is horse themed.
