Geocache Description:

The Bey Hamam, also known as the Baths of Paradise, is on Egnatia Street in Thessaloniki. It was built in 1444 and is Thessaloniki's oldest Turkish bathhouse. The baths remained in use, until 1968, and now the easternmost part of the baths house a gift shop of the Greek Ministry of Culture. There is also a lovely coffee shop on the Eastern side which has great views of the top of the Hamam from the upper floor.

Cache is now a nano. Difficulty level upgraded to a 2.

Please be warned that this cache is in an undesirable area, although the square and the Turkish bath are things not to be missed by a tourist. Do not attempt if you are reluctant to be around stinky places.
