Released in 1971 starring Burt Lancaster, Susan Clark, Jon Cypher, Barton Heyman, Richard Jordan, Frank Silvera, and Hector Elizondro. Oscar winner Burt Lancaster gives a powerhouse performance as an aging Mexican-American lawman who erupts into a one-man army in this bold saga of retribution and redemption.
When a powerful rancher provokes a shoot-out which results in the death of an innocent man, Valdez asks the rancher for one hundred dollars for the widow. The rancher responds nearly killing Valdez. After he has recuperated at a friend's ranch, the experienced Indian fighter and marksman puts on his old cavalry uniform and sends a man to the rancher with a message. VALDEZ IS COMING!
