Geocache Description:

Pollux

Coordinates:
N 44 28 210
W 080 10 881

This is the first of two geocaches that I planted 2013-05-11. Found on the Collingwood-Barrie rail trail, this cache is a small "really useful box" that has a pencil and a logbook inside.

This cache is found off to the side of the Collingwood-Barrie rail trail and unless you're willing to plow through snow, is not winter friendly. Moving a branch here and a leaf there may be required. Depending on weather it may also be muddy just off the rail tracks leading up to the cache.

Pollux is a bright star easily visible in the constellation Gemini the Twins, especially in the Winter and Spring months. Together with Castor, they make the 'heads' of the constellation. At the time of planting this geocache, Gemini stands upright just after sunset in the west.

As these are my first two geocaches and they were planted at the same time, it only made sense to me to name them as twins.
