Geocache Description:

This cache site will take you to the elevator for a wet and whitewater ride to the 12th floor. It will all make sense when you've found me. 

**Releasing this cache in time for Maupin's Signature Event: RiverFest on the Deschutes.**

To reach this cache site, you'll need to follow the map to Maupin, and take the Deschutes Access Road North to Elevator Rapids. There are no markings for this rapid. It is approx. 1/2 North of the BLM's White River Campground. You can park along the road pull-out. From your parking spot, you'll see perfectly sane people, wearing life jackets of course, jumping into the frigid 54 degree Deschutes River to ride the elevator. From your vantage point, this elevator isn't going to get you all wet. From your parking spot, rotate until you see the "12th" floor. Just to the left of the 12, you'll find me.

If you've logged the pointing cache, upriver from here, this hide will be familar.

As always, be very careful of snakes in the area. They like when you stomp your feet.
