status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Geocache Description:

A small grove of native forest, just beyond the well-know Te Henui Walkway.  This path connects Karina Road with Heta Road, and is home to some impressive native trees.  The pathway is primarily used by local cyclists, school children and dogwalkers, and it is well worth a small detour for everybody else.

The cache is less than a metre from the path, hidden behind one of the roots of a large tree.  The container is a practical size - having a logbook, pencil and room for a number of small items.
