Geocache Description:

I was walking along the track and the idea for this cache – or pair of caches - came to mind.  After all, this was a cacheless bit of track…..
So this walking/cycle track used to be an old railway line.  And in the search for efficiency and economy the practice when building rail lines was to cut through the hills and fill the gullies to make a more level grade for the trains to run through.  Enjoy the walk!!

This cache is the cut – levelling out the hills. The cache is attached to a tool often used to make the cut.
It is hiding in a crevice in the cutting. Please ensure its hidey hole is covered so it won't be muggled.
