Geocache Description:

This multi-cache is a simple number transposition puzzle that reveals itself as you visit each waypoint. The walk will take no more than an hour and is mainly on grass footpaths – great for dogs.

The final cache is well disguised, hence a 4 difficulty rating, and has instructions for accessing the log. You’ll need to bring your own pen to record your find and some paper to help solve each of the clues.

Mr Bigollo (see his Blackboard and Calculator puzzle caches) has lost his faithful four-legged friend whilst holidaying on the Broads and is desperate to find him. The pup loves to go walkabouts. Thankfully, just like his owner, he enjoys leaving clues to his whereabouts. Can you help Bigollo find him?

The pooch slipped his lead at the Church just outside the village of Thurne (N 52 41.082 E 1 33.412).

Check this location thoroughly for a clue to where Bigollo’s dog headed next.  You may find this useful to write down and take with you:

In each location, look for a further clue to the next. If you are really, really, smart you may even work out Bigollo’s dog’s full pedigree name. Feel free to let me know if you find it.

Note: If camping at Bureside, a footpath runs from the campsite entrance to the Church, approx 3 mins walk. Otherwise limited parking is available at the Church or at the Staithe in Thurne. Remember: Please keep dogs on leads as you wander around.

Please reset the cache exactly as you find it.

Enjoy,

LAETABI

IMPORTANT NOTICE (14th JULY 2014):

Thanks to 2DGs for reporting that waypoint number 2 is no longer available due to improvements to the area around Thurne dyke. As this requires a replacement dogtag and re-siting which may impact on other clues, for now, the missing tag at the first stage after the Church is as follows:

U=8 CA° DB.BUT B° NN.TAT

A replacement tag will be sourced and amendments made to the siting if necessary. Any update will be posted on the main listing.
