Carrbridge is a popular place for tourists. Once a year there is Carrbridge Carve event which is an excellent day out for the family. Wood carvers from many places come to show their expertise. They start at 10am and at 4pm the hooter goes to finish their time. Then judges view the sculptures and award places in a variety of classes. The public also can vote for 'the people's choice' with a metal washer given on enrty to the fair ground. The sculptures are then auctioned off to the highest bidder. A great day out. Also Carrbridge has another event day...a porridge making competition ...you may have a winning recipe!!
