Magnetic cache which is very small and probably need a lever to get it out of its hole!!!
Please bring pen/pencil to log this cache.
Beside busy road..take care with children and pets.
Good parking available.
Castle Grant WAS the seat of the Seafield Grant Estate but now privately owned.
The usual very impressive entrance to what was a prestigious estate. A walk up the road and you will come across a now defunct huge walled garden which is a nursery for pheasant chicks. The fields are grazed by herds of prime Scottish beef and lamb. The castle itself is unremarkable but a visit to the Grantown Museum will enlighten you about the origins of Grantown and the history of this interesting corner of Scotland.
