This is my 4th Cache in this pleasant city park. Take some time here and enjoy the park with the family. A great place for a picnic.
This one is probably the most challenging to find and not for beginners, those who are easily discouraged or the downright lazy. The cache is just a few feet of the main path inside the park grounds with easy access to GZ. No need to climb over anything or trespass.
BYOP. There may be space for the tiniest of swappables. Enjoy.
Originally known as the “The People’s Park” when Sir Richard Wallace donated the sum of £4,000 to convert a 16 acre meadow into a park in the mid 1880’s. Following his death it was renamed the Wallace Park.
The most striking features of the park are the Victorian gates and gatehouses at the two main entrances.
Over the years the park has played host to many civic, social and sporting events.
