This is the monthly RCGDS (River City Geocaching and Dining Society) event!
Please join us on Saturday, July 13 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm for a potluck lunch/BBQ and trackables discovery event at Mace Ranch Park under the pavilion. We will have 6 picnic tables and 5 BBQ grills at the site – if you wish to BBQ, please bring all your supplies. The park, located in east Davis along the Davis Bike Loop, features a playground, basketball courts, restrooms, a swing set, and plenty of space for kids and dogs to run around. The city requests that no glass containers be used, so please bring plastic bottles or cans if at all possible.
Plenty of parking is available in the Explorit Science Center lot (refer to the parking coordinates). Enter the lot from 5th Street at the Explorit sign. There is no street parking available on Loyola Drive.
This is a discovery event, so please bring your trackable items to show off! If your collection is large, it is recommended that the trackable codes be preprinted on sheets for folks to take home. We will have a raffle at 12:30pm with several trackables up for grabs. Donations of more raffle items would be greatly appreciated! ~UPDATE 5-18-2013~ I just received a VERY generous donation of beautiful, unique, unactivated geocoins from Monica of Team Pluto for the raffle!
