GSRT By the Creek Traditional Cache

The Great Southern Rail Trail, 49 km from Leongatha to Foster. Foster station closed in 1981. Train travel in South Gippsland was taken for granted as kids, special trips to the Melbourne Zoo or Melbourne Show. It was not until riding along the GSRT 40 years later to place these caches that I realised what a spectacular train trip this used to be, overlooking farmland, mountains and Wilson's Prom.
Not far from the town of Fish Creek you will arrive at a picnic location with the creek nearby. The perfect place for a lunch break.
