The cache is situated in the north west of the Shetland Mainland. It is near the Eshaness lighthouse. On the way you pass the Door Holm, a large rock with a natural archway. There is a storm beach at Stenness nearby and a seasonal museum at Tangwick.
There is ample parking at the lighthouse. There are two information boards, one gives details of the lighthouse which was built by the famous Stevenson family and the other gives details of the geology, the birds and other snippets of information. In the graveyard nearby are two significant gravestones. One is to Johnie Notions who discovered a vaccination for smallpox and the other is for a man who was inadvertently sold nitre instead of Epsom salts. The cliff scenery is spectacular. Close to the cache you will find rare birds nesting adjacent to the small loch and on the cliffs nearby. The cache is a small lock and lock box containing a log book and a pencil as well as a few small items. At time of setting it also contained a First to Find badge and a travel bug.
