Summary
This is the 12th in the Howaya Five-0 series. It has nothing to do with the TV programme of a similar name, although some references accidental or deliberate may appear from time to time. All are Dublin based, and no more than 50m from either the number 50 or a reference thereto. As yet, I can’t decide how many there will be in the series. I’m sure an appropriate number will come to mind eventually
The Cache
The cache is a small camo tabloc box which contains one of my many IKEA pencils (at this rate I may need to make a second visit before end 2017) and some odds and ends (EDIT: Not any more - with the 31/10/20 replacement it's a wee 35mm canister so no room for a pencil. Hence I recommend you bring your own). I would apologise for the rather shoddy GPS reception at GZ, but I realise that the fault lies, not with me but with the engineers that designed the system, or possibly the accountants that would not allow the budget necessary for a more powerful signal that would penetrate a canopy of leaves. Or it may have been the health and safety folk, who reckoned that a signal that strong might turn our brains to mush. In short, its not my fault.
But I digress. To make up for the limitations of GPS, I have included a hint, and awarded a difficulty rating of 3. I was able to get pretty close using the coordinates given. Standing on the path, my arrow pointed to the right spot and gave the right distance. The hint should do the rest. Good luck.
Nearly forgot - What's with the name? In s.810's log for Howaya #11 he included the term 'UCD campus cleared. Yay'. Which was obviously a plea for another one. Wasn't it?
