This cache is located at the "back door" to Richfield Park. It's located just off a trail connecting Gale and Teachout roads to the park. Locals use this trail when we want to go hiking , biking, horseback-riding or snowmobiling in the park. It's a well-used trail, so please be sure to keep the cache hidden from view, especially when the leaves are down for the season. This is a Genesee Parks cache, permit #13001.
You can reach this cache from either inside Richfield park, or Gale/Teachout Roads. It's a nice, easy hike from inside the park in late spring, summer, and fall; however, it may be difficult or impossible to reach from the park during the winter and early spring, due to snow and flooding. You can reach the cache from Gale and Teachout roads year-round. Please take care when parking, since there's limited visibilty for cars coming around the curve. There are two farmer's drives nearby on Gale road if you want to pull into one. The cache container is a peanut butter jar. Come armed with bug spray in the summer. Congrats to rootee2t and y2kcompliant for FTF!
