Geocache Description:

Ahoy there matey’s, I hear yer lookin for a pirate adventure!!! So come on board and set sail with the pirates of the Menomineean. This cache is part of a series.

Some time ago a pirate crew got marooned in Menominee where they quickly became known as the Pirates of the Menomineean.  While they were here there was a mutiny aboard. The captain feared the black spot, so he left the ship and hid all of the loot on shore in hopes of someday returning to reclaim his bounty. Rumor is the captain and his new crew returned for the loot. Can you beat the captain to it, or will you see the jolly rodger? The captain hid the treasure in piece o’ eight and one more being the final. Good lucky Matey’s!!

Yarrrrr didn’t do a very good job with those cannons. Some of the hands were over taken and now they be dancing with Jack Ketch. Let’s go see if you can find ye ole matey. Remember, dead men tell no tales!!!
