spooko13: Well, we had a lot of fun with this series and hate to see it go, but all good things must come to an end. Thanks to everyone who stopped by! We appreciate the nice logs and favorite points you left behind after your visit. [:)]

I won't get out to pick mine up until the weekend at the earliest, so there's still an additional "last minute" for anyone interested in signing in before they're pulled.

Geocache Description:

One of three, golf related caches leading up to a final cache in an unknown location.

During the April 2013 CITO event, momd, Mud Dancer and spooko13 teamed up near the golf club's driving range at Genesee Valley Park. While we didn't find a lot of typical trash, we did find lots of golf balls! Lots and lots and lots and lots of golf balls.... Many were chewed up by the lawn mower and thrown into the woods, but many more were usable. So we discussed what to do with some of them, and like any good geocachers we came to the only logical conclusion....use them as part of a series of golf-themed hides!

The series consists of three traditional hides placed individually by the three of us, and then a final, collective, unknown type cache. The three traditional hides each contain a portion of the coordinates for the final, which is represented by N 43 AB.CDE W 077 FG.HIJ. There will be something golf-related used in some fashion at each hide.

Some of the hides may be close to a golf course so be sure to use stealth if you are in a high muggle zone or near a hole that is currently being played!

For this particular cache you are looking for something we had found at the CITO event other than the golf balls...something used by pros and beginners alike. As of 11/19/2018 you'll be looking for a repurposed, camo'ed plastic jar. Instructions for obtaining three of the numbers you'll need for the final can be found somewhere on inside the container. Please be gentle when retrieving the log (just lift) and please remember to rehide the cache exactly as you found it.
