De Bos dam Traditional Cache

The only dam in the Overberg primarily supplying water to urban users in the region is the De Bos Dam. This is owned by the Overstrand Municipality, has a capacity of 6,3 million m3 and supplies domestic water to the Greater Hermanus area
The De Bos dam is situated in the fertile valley of Hemel and Aarde (Heaven and Earth)
