The walk along the Sea Wall gives, when the weather is right a fabulous view across the Lune Esturary. This cache is part of series placed along the Sea Wall with the kind permission of Natural England who maintain this amazing Site of Special Scientific Interest.
A replacement for the Original Pilling Bonus from the Sea Wall Walk Series.
This one shouldn't cause any issues as it isn't among the rocks.
The length of the Sea Wall Walk is approximately 2.5 miles end to end (5 miles there and back again)! If you park at either end there is a bus (Number 89 - runs every 2 hours) from the centre of Knott End to Pilling and vice versa. The Pilling stops (either Wheel Lane or The Golden Ball) are still about a 1/2 mile wander to the start of the Sea Wall Walk.
