Geocache Description:

The time has come to say so long to 62CacheCrew.
After finding all the local caches they have decided to take the drastic step of moving east so they have a new area to cache in!
Since I have been known to have a beverage (or several) with them I thought a pub night would be a nice way to wish them luck in their new area.
The event will be at Don Cherry's at 1600 Champlain in Whitby starting at 6:30pm
There will be a set menu to choose from to let the servers and kitchen staff serve us better.
Come and join me in wishing them luck in their new home!
Space is set aside for 40 people at this time and then we can start a waiting list.
I know it is a busy time of year for a lot of folks.

It doesn't seem that long ago that I got a DNF log on a cache of mine from someone calling themselves 62CacheCrew.
Hmmm, must be some new cachers, never heard of them before.
Check the profile and yup, brand new cachers, just a couple finds.
A few emails back and forth happen, but we didn't actually meet until an event for Leap Year.
Fast forward to a new cache published that had stumped a couple of the local cachers and Leanne and I decided to go look for it together to see if we could nab the FTF that the boys had missed.
Along with finding the cache that day, we discovered we had a lot in common and started caching together on a regular basis, becoming good friends along the way.
<>br> THEN they decided they were going to start hiding caches too!
Little did the local cachers know what evil lurked among us until those notifications started coming out!
Ingenious field puzzles, nasty brutally hard puzzles that had people working together and the emails flying back and forth with "have you tried this?" and "What about that?"
Some people even had to resort to Rum and Painkillers after working on the puzzles for so long!
We will miss having the unique puzzles and containers that you have put out for us, and we will miss having you around.
All the best to you in your new home!
