An excellent track with extensive coastal views. If walking the loop the beach return can only be accessed 3 hours each side of low tide. Park at the Mangawhai surf club. Walk north on beach for about 15 minutes to track start where you will find the first cache. Continue up the hill track for the other caches.
Elevation 97 metres. Down all the steep steps to the boardwalk.A large pill container with log book. BYOP. Resting on post. Please replace with care so it does not fall. See owner's log on 4 June 2018.
