Geocache Description:

Cache is a camo lock-n-lock hidden just a few feet off the road at the edge of some woods.  It is large enough for trinkets, tradeables, and TB’s.  BYOP, and please make sure to re-hide cache as found. !!! PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE YOU STEP.  THERE ARE LARGE FIRE ANT MOUNDS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OF THE CACHE!!!  These mounds; however, do not block or cause and problem in getting to GZ.

***UPDATE*** Land owner is still taking care of land business. I am in contact with him daily since we rent one of hos buildings for our family's business. He owns the majority of the land on the deadend street there and on out around the street on the main road. The land owner is a very nice man and a good friend of ours. He does a lot for those who rent his buildings and has no problem with this cache being placed there; however, he needed to take care of some things on the land and with regard to setting it up for his business and thought it best if people weren't randomly accessing it to look for cache while he does all. I will be the first to know when he has finished and cache can become active again so, this isn't a case of taking up a space where someone else could place a cache that is active. I respect the land owners wishes regarding the use of his land and, as we Geocachers all know, permission from land owner regarding placing a cache IS A MUST!!! So, having said the above, I am keeping this cache status as "Temporarily Disabled" until I am "PERMITTED" to re-activate. Archiving this cache, in this case, would not free up an area for another to place a cache on being that this entire area is majority owned by the same person. I will be getting with him to discuss this cache and issues as far as any changes that kay need to be made to the placement and type based on the changes undergone by the land. I am, very much, present and actively keeping up with this cache's activity and with the status of re-enabling it according to the land owner's wishes. So, for now, I can only wait and continue to respect the wishes of the land owner. I would expect that, as Geocachers, we all would do the very same. I apologize for the longer than usual "Temporarily Disabled" status ;however, find that all should understand based on the above stated situation. Thanks to all for being patient! -cbj23 ***UPDATE*** Before I begin the main description of this cache I need to, first, tell of an unfortunate event that occurred affecting the details of this cache and causing a delay in it being submitted.
This cache is the second cache in, what will still, be a series of caches called “Last Call”.  I say, “what will still be”, because the day before I was to submit this cache for review, the first “Last Call” had to be removed and archived.  A neighbor thought the cache was a pipe bomb and called the police.  The police put the whole neighborhood on lockdown and called the bomb squad.  I happened upon this scene and informed the cop that it was not a pipe bomb, but a geocache.  To make a long story a little shorter, I was belittled and berated by the officer, told that this was a “stupid” game that “put lives in danger”, and threatened with arrest.  The end result of all of this was me being very hurt and upset by all that happened and how I was treated, feeling like an idiot, and having to remove and archive the cache.  This event has had a lasting effect on me and really took me to a dark place for a while.  Although, I am not over it, I refuse to let this event destroy something that I thoroughly enjoy doing and has, in a sense, given me my life back.
The first cache of this “series” is called “Last Call (Tribute to gaea282, My Family, Geocaching)” (GC3HM5J).  It was placed on my one year anniversary (Day 365) of being sober, and is dedicated to  Geocaching and the people who, without a doubt, gave me the strength, support, and will to overcome this destructive vice that would, most likely, lead to my death.  The following is taken from the cache description of “Last Call (Tribute to gaea282, My Family, Geocaching)” (GC3HM5J).  This should help bring everyone up to speed and set the stage for this cache, “Last Call ,Day 730 (Tribute Cont’d)”, which marks my two year anniversary of being sober and continues to honor those who helped me achieve this milestone, as well as the game that put me back in the game of life, Geocaching.

**EXCERPT FROM CACHE DESCRIPTION OF; “Last Call (Tribute to gaea282, My Family, Geocaching)” **
*Use GC3HM5J to look up this cache and read the full description.
This is a very special cache for me since it was placed a year to the day that I quit drinking, Day 365 (April 13, 2012.   I am dedicating this cache to some very important people, my friend gaea282 and my wonderful family, as well as to Geocaching, my new addiction.   Without gaea282, my family, and Geocaching I don’t believe I would have been able to place this cache celebrating 365 days of sobriety.

My friend gaea282 is the one who introduced me to Geocaching.   Although skeptical at first, I was instantly hooked.  It was the beginning of the end to my drinking and the start of an entirely new, positive addiction.  Gaea282 started coming down to visit me in Little River, SC from Raleigh, NC and we would cache the entire weekend, both day and night.   Having her support, a new hobby, and the everlasting love and support of my family enabled me to focus on something positive, helped me out of the rut I was in, and undoubtedly gave me my life back.   Somewhere during this transition I adopted the motto “Be Happy” along with anything having to do with or having a smiley on it…this was pretty ironic given that the smiley plays a big role in Geocaching as well…
** Although “Last Call (Tribute to gaea282, My Family, Geocaching” (GC3HM5J) has been archived, I fully intend on re-hiding and re-submitting this cache for publication.  Obviously, it will be in a different place and different container.

O.K. people, now for what we’ve all been waiting for…The cache description for this cache!!!
Since this cache is a continued tribute of the original “Last Call” cache, those description details are pretty much the same and are stated in the above excerpt.   This cache; however, marks two years of sobriety for me.  I will take the time to say again how very, very important my family, gaea282, and Geocaching were/are in my getting sober and staying that way!!!
This cache is a camo lock-n-lock hidden at the edge of some woods right off of the street on which our family has its’ business.  Before anyone says it…I do realize I have hidden a cache marking two years of sobriety on a street named “Koolabrew Dr.”  Oh the irony…This cache is large enough for tradeables and TB’s.  Please be sure to re-hide cache as found.  B.O.L.O. (Be on the Look Out) for nosy muggles outside the business just down from the cache area.  In order to park, just pull off along the side of the road.  Koolabrew Dr. is a little side road that dead ends, so parking in this manner should not be a problem.  Also, I want to reiterate what I said above in the short description…
PLEASE BE AWARE OF LARGE FIRE ANT MOUNDS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA OF THE CACHE!!!  These should not be an issue as far as getting to GZ, just make sure you have looked before you leap.  They are quite noticeable and easy to avoid, as long as you LOOK and take note of where they are.
I have started this cache off with quite a few goodies, since I really like caches with goodies.  This cache contains; a prize for FTF consisting of an LED smiley keychain, FTF keychain, and one of my very special “BE Happy” zipper pulls all hooked together along with an engraved personal GEO-Dog Tag that reads, “LASTCALLDAY730 41313”.  This item is a trackable, and is yours to keep or set up as a TB to travel wherever you may have it go.
Also in this cache is a “Day730 (Triple TB)” that I am starting.  It is much like the one that I started in the first “Last Call” cache; however, this time it consists of three personal GEO Dog Tags, one belonging to me, one for my mama, and one for my daddy.  These are, without a doubt, the two most important people in my life!!!  Each tag is engraved with Day730 and the date, 41313, and either “ cbj23”, “mama”, or “ daddy”.  Also connected to this triple TB is a guardian angel charm, representing my mama (my guardian angel), a capital “C” charm (representing me), and a lower case “d” charm (representing my daddy, who is the half that makes me whole).  I have attached a bison tube containing the TBs’ goal as well.  Each TB is to be logged separately but all three have the same goal. Everything is connected to a “Be Happy” keychain because, since I quit drinking, everybody BE HAPPY.
The remaining cache contents include, a log book, two smiley stickers, cat silly bands, a clay cat paw (one of my cats’ actual paws), 2 Crazy Cat Ladies bracelets, a smiley keychain, four smiley bouncy balls, a “HAPPINESS” bracelet, a bracelet that reads “HAPPY” with a smiley, two smiley rings, and four pins/buttons.  One reads, “Be Happy cbj23”, the next has a smiley and reads, “fouNd it!”, the third reads, “If I Can’t Find It…It Ain’t There!”, and, last but not least, the fourth pin/button reads, “Yes, I’m One of Those Geocaching People!”.
Please, feel free to take a memento from this cache, as long as you have something to go in its’ place.  I have started this cache out with a lot of trinkets, so I always expect to find a lot of trinkets in it.
Well, I guess that about wraps things up…HAPPY CACHING & SMILEY’S TO ALL!!!

** While you’re in the area, be sure to check out gaea282’s and my (Crazy Cat Ladies) cache just down the street called “The Cache Pott” (GC2WEEO).**
