Near the softball/soccer fields in our little park that the trail goes through. This one is replacing Way out in Left Field that had been muggled twice so it was a goner.
In the days before refrigeration, Giles Creek was used to flood the low areas around here in the winter. When the water froze, the ice was cut and harvested to be used in ice boxes in the summer for refrigeration. Followl the trail to the north east of the cache the trail leads to the remains of the foundation of the ice house.
Container is larger than a nano, smaller than a match tube. You can get to the area by wheel chair, but the cache is not retrievable from a chair.
