Geocache Description:

Parking close by on the road to the arena or if open, the arena carpark. Busy when horse events are on and used quite abit by dogs and their muggles. You are looking for a 35mm cache in the metal mouse hole. First to find token enclosed.

Friezland Arena is managed by Friezland User Group (FUG), a body made up of representatives from riding organisations (including O&DRC) and other interested parties in cooperation with Oldham Countryside Service. O&DRC has the use of the Friezland Riding Arena for two Sundays and four Wednesdays every month, a facility which is the envy of many.

The Pennine Bridleway, a 205 mile adventure for walkers, horse riders & mountain bikers.  Explore the hills & valleys of the Pennines following old packhorse routes, drovers roads & newly created bridleways This section runs along the route of a disused railway line.
