The Sea Wall walk between Pilling and Knott End offers fabulous views, when the weather is right, across the Lune Estuary!
This cache is part of a series along the Sea Wall, placed with the permission of Natural England, who look after this amazing Site of Special Scientific Interest.
This cache is a replacement for the original Knott End Bonus Cache - the Pilling Bonus had to move and the clues were no longer relevant, so thought I'd do a new one!
The length of the Sea Wall Walk is approximately 2.5 miles end to end (5 miles there and back again)! If you park at either end there is a bus (Number 89 - runs every 2 hours) from the centre of Knott End to Pilling and vice versa. The Pilling stops (either Wheel Lane or The Golden Ball) are still about a 1/2 mile wander to the start of the Sea Wall Walk.
