An easy, kid-friendly Park-n-grab. But stay awhile to explore and enjoy the demo garden.
In the middle of industrial businesses and open fields, lies this refreshing demonstration garden. Located at the Dane County Extension building, the garden wraps around three sides of the building to offer demonstrations of many different gardens suitable for Dane County.
Maintained by the Madison Area Master Garderers for public education.
From the road you can see trees and shrubs, and many types of flowers. As you drive into the parking lot, there is a rock garden and border plantings.
The cache itself is in the Children's Educational Garden. Check out the raised beds, composting displays, and kid-friendly veggies.
Cache is a well-stocked container filled with educational and kid-friendly swag, and suitable for travel bugs. You are welcome to take an item. If possible, please leave something of educational value. Remember this is a Children's Garden.
