Cache is a lock n lock in Harrison Pond Park.
I discovered this area off the beaten path with TeamDan327 after getting another cache in this area. "Long Island is mostly flat land", she said to me, but placing this cache made us have a little adventure.
This cache is difficult to get to, took me out of my comfort zone, but the adventure is worth it.
I recommend you wear your water proof boots and bring a walking stick. You may get very wet if not careful. It may be harder to do this cache at night and there is beautiful vegetation in this park to be seen such as ferns and elephant plants.
There isn't a trail going strait to the cache. There is bushwacking, thorns and mud and 3 streams (3-4 foot wide) you have to cross over in order to get to this cache. Be careful not to fall in! Use small logs to cross over the streams. There are plenty of them in this park. As I said, It is an adventure! This will be a very fun cache for people of all ages.

The cache is delicate and the clasps open from the top as marked. PLEASE be very careful putting it back in place after you have found it and hide it better than you found it.
This park is bigger than you may think, but don't tarry too long if you are not a resident of Smithtown because a sticker to park here is required. You can also park on side streets for this cache. The park closes at dusk.
