The Barn-Raising: A Quilt Barn Trail Eve-nt Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

facefromthepast: I can scarcely believe it has been almost a month since this event! Just want to thank everyone again for coming out. Despite the less than perfect weather, which just seems to follow my events, it turned out to be a great evening, not to mention an extremely memorable birthday! One of these days I'll even get my event logged as attended. [;)] Thanks everyone!!!

Geocache Description:

The Clinton County Barn Quilt Geotrail
opens tomorrow morning,
and the multitudes
will be descending on the area for the event.

Since there will be lots of folks from out of town,
I thought it would be fun
to have some stress-free social time
before the rush starts tomorrow!

When we'll party:

  • 7:30pm until we leave

What to expect:

  • Friends old and new
  • Lots of chatter and laughter
  • A few games and prizes
  • A campfire

What to bring:

  • Any one of the three components of S'mores (post which you'll bring if you know in advance)
  • Toasting sticks if you have some to share around (might want to label)
  • Consider bringing a jacket, as we will be by the lake and it could get cool as the sun sets
  • Writing implement & flashlight may or may not prove useful
  • Trackables to swap and discover
  • Personal trade items to swap - especially if they are small, round, and shiny
  • Beverages (I'll bring one case of water, cups, and napkins)

Event is being held with the blessing of Cowan Lake State Park.
