Geocache Description:

This cache is placed near where we think  The Lost Boys originally placed Kinsella Trail Cache.  We followed this cache, there were several DNF's and no response from the owners so to our disappointment it was eventually archived. We really like the "bulging tree" we think they were referring to so we decided to place one here again.

Although the Kinsella Trail Cache was our first DNF, we had a lot of fun looking for it.  Being rookie cachers we went way off the path following the compass arrow. Trudging deep into the woods. In AUGUST!  When we decided to revisit the Kinsella Trail Cache we stayed on the path and were a litte embarrassed as to how much harder we originally made it to find the area and how much closer it actually was!  We really like the "bulging tree" we think they were referring to so we decided to place one here again.   We suggest you enter the trail that begins behind the picnic tables in the area between the Kinsella Cabin and the playground. Not too bad of terrain, there are hills, you will cross a creek, and the area has suffered a bit due to the recent flash flooding.  Trees are down everywhere. There are man made bridges and steps.  Your looking for a camo container.  There is a pen in the cache but I suggest you bring one for backup, its a bit of a walk back out of the woods!   This park has really nice trails and is one of our favorite places. I am including some links with information about the Kinsella's and their cabin if your interested. http://flintknapper.com/Kinsella%20Cabin.htm  http://www.marilynkinsella.org/pleasant_ridge_farm.htm
