Geocache Description:

Please note that this cache was previously called 'Take a Wark to Visit Carl' and the cache box still has the old name on it. The area where cache is located is open moorland and can be quite exposed. The terrain is boulder strewn so care should be taken. Approaching from Higger Tor will involve a little scrambling. GPS can be erratic near to cache site.

The cache is located near the Iron Age fort at Carl Wark (meaning Devil's Building); it is in a 1L Tupperware type container.
The terrain is quite demanding so I would recommend decent footwear and clothing.
The cache is hidden under one of the numerous rocks.
Suggested parking places are at N53 20.194 W001 37.005 or N53 20.586 W001 36.637, both places will be quite busy at weekends.
Due to cache size please keep TB's & swops on the small side.
Please replace the lid securely & leave as you find.
