Geocache Description:

This is our first cache and have thought for awhile at where to place it.

****THE CACHE IS NOT ON THE EMBANKMENT OF THE  A19 AND ACCESS TO THE CACHE CANNOT BE GAINED FROM THE A19****

The cache is placed just off a public footpath that takes you from Arcot Lane, Cramlington and splits to end up on two parts of Dudley Lane, Dudley.  You can walk to the cache from either end. The Arcot Lane end  being the shorter of the walks and where you would have to cross the A19 via a concrete footbridge. There are stiles along the footpath, so not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.

If coming from the Arcot Lane end you will pass Dam Dykes Farm which is a Grade II listed building currently going under some renovation. Be aware that there is other development work going on on the approach to the cache area and it can get quite muddy. Even though the approach appears to be private property there is a public footpath runs straight through it and you have access. *****The building work has been going for over 4 years now*********

The cache is a small white tub, which includes notepad, pencil and some trinkets
