Rest a Wyle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Maple Leaf: I visited the cache location this evening and it took me a few minutes to find the cache. The original hiding place (ivy covered stump) has disintegrated and the cache was just lying out in the open futher into the trees.
I've decided to archive the cache and have removed the container this evening (complete with original log sheet from over 3yrs ago).

Thanks to everyone that visited and to North Somerset Council for permission to place the cache. The orchard has grown up a lot in the last 3yrs and is still a pleasant and peaceful place.

Geocache Description:

Just off The Strawberry Line (Heritage Trail and National Cycle route 26)

Woodborough Common is a peaceful location close to the Strawberry Line which is owned by North Somerset Council and maintained as a community orchard. Perfect spot to take a seat and have a rest.

There is a public footpath running through the orchard - which can be accessed from either the Strawberry Line (steps) or from Woodborough Road (inbetween the first two houses on the left as you come under the bridge from Winscombe)
