Geocache Description:

UrbanMicro 2 - opportunity to visit near 19th century and 21st century architecture

Coordinates are 45.41723, -75.71012 (or: 45° 25.0338, -75° 42.6072)

(Cache has moved a few hundred feet)

A great urban location, frequented by joggers, bikers, walkers. The kayak access appears to be suspended during the huge re-working of the area, but I suspect they will be back in the coming year or two. Great spot for a walk around, so if it's a nice day go for it. Then again, a rainy day, or winter is easier, as a warm sunny summer day will be wall-to-wall people. The cache position has bounced around a few times, first when the construction removed all the trees and landscape from the initial location, and now a recent disambiguation move (as wikipediers would say) to avoid another cache that showed up after we respositioned this. Coordinates are SPOT ON as verified with satellite photos - but remember your GPS can only typically lock to within a few metres. Not so bad a spot at night as was, but still isolated. BRING YOUR OWN PENCIL/PEN.

NB.

I often get reports of a full log book, when there is a ton of space still left in the book. Don't be shy... use front and back of the paper. These little caches would need an update each week if you don't.

The UMB hatrick is once again fully in position. It's been up for about 5 years, though some downtime for one of the caches occurs every couple of years if one goes missing. PLEASE don't move the caches - some players get convinced they would be better somewhere else - that makes maintenance harder. If you found, it others can. ALSO - even if it LOOKS plainly visible, muggles generally won't see it unless they know it's there, so you don't need to invent new hiding techniques. Enjoy the architecture, and the ghosts of the former neighbourhood. (NB. No fence climbing, deep-bushwhacking, swimming or dangerous balancing is required)

Note - Updated difficulty to 2.0, as it's slightly less difficult than it was earlier (But there's a nice muggle screen now!) You can do this one pretty easily without a handheld GPS, the GoogleMaps/Satellite images work well and the coord's are bang on within about 24 inches.
