The Niverville Credit Union was established in 1949 with 23 members and a total of $150.75 in shares. By 1967 it had reached $1 million in assets and moved into a 2800 square foot location. NCU contiuned to grow rapidly to 2500 members and $12.2 million in assets by 1977. In 1983, the Landmark Credit Union merged with NCU. NCU now has over 6000 members and $180 million in assets. Not bad for a small town credit union!
