WISTERIA CACHE Traditional Cache
FPRINCEBUTLER: The botanical garden, where it is located, asked me to remove it. They think searchers disturb rocks in the garden. It's been in there since 2013.

The geocache is located within the Williamsburg Botanical Garden and Freedom Park Arboretum, specifically within the enclosed Garden area. Free Blacks lived in the Freedom Park area before the Civil War, thus the name "Freedom." Parking is 100 Yds from the cache, with unobstructed, flat trails (paved and hard-packed) to the cache. It is a hollow artificial rock that is decidedly browner in color than the other rocks, and therefore stands out.
Driving and Parking Instructions: Enter the Park at the intersection of Longhill and Centerville Roads. At the 3/4 mile mark, you will see the Garden and a large gate. This is NOT the entrance to the Garden. Continue driving around the perimeter of the fenced Garden and pass the decorative pedestrian gate. Continue driving a short distance to the parking lot and walk back to the Garden using the paved path. Then cross the road you just traveled on to enter the Garden through the pedestrian gate.
