Geocache Description:

A puzzle cache to replace the much-muggled nano that kept disapearing from just outside Henry's house; (and I think I have a good idea who kept taking it). You will find the cache elsewhere when you solve the puzzle. All of the dubious deeds below belong to Henry Tang.

Most people know dear Henry Tang, the unluckiest politician of our times. He only wanted to be the Chief Executive of Hong Kong and be loved and admired by the common people. It wasn't much to ask for an ordinary chap with connections and few billion stashed away from his inheritance. But where did it all go so cruelly wrong?

Well I suppose it would have been better if he hadn't had to admit his extra maritol affair. Much later, of course, there was the absolutely false and outrageous allegation about his fake burgundy wine - which was part of the wine sale which brought him a cool HKD48 million. None of this not-fake expessive wine had been kept in the illegal 2,000 foot basement which his wife accidently built under the two luxury residencies in York Road without telling him. He hadn't even noticed the basement with the alleged japanese-style bath, gym, cinema and errrrm wine cellar, until his dog ran right through it from one end and coming out the other end right in front of the TV News cameras, perched on cranes high above (there really should be a law against cameras on cranes catching people out like that, it just isn't gentlemanly).

Before all this there had been the Harbourfest mess when as Chairman of the organising committee of the post-SARS concert series (Rolling Stones and Neil Young etc) he hung the organiser out to dry when things didn't quite work out financially and asked for meeting minutes recording his support for the organiser, Mike Rowse, to be deleted; this was just before Rowse was fired (and later vindicated). Poor, unlucky, Henry still lives at 7 York Road and you can see him being driven in and out if you wait long enough.

Oh, and there is the mysterious case of the Masters Degree in Sociology from Yale, which Henry included in his submission of credentials to Govenor Wilson in 1991. It is alledged that no evidence of this degree can be found on record. If you see the certificate blowing around the GZ please do him a favour and stick it in his letterbox.
There is a completely unfounded and false rumour going round that with all this unfair pressure and publicity to deal with he has had a couple of tunnels built from the basement - one which comes out in a toilet cubicle in Festival Walk (that one that is always locked) from where he and his wife, it is said (by the cleaners), walk around after midnight, in the dark, window shopping. The other tunnel comes out in a place where he can relax and play for a few happy minutes. His favourite is said to be the springy duck. He was, alledgedly, recently seen walking on the flowerbeds in this place whilst pulling strings in the pockets of his very fat and heavy trousers, secretly releasing soil from his trouser Bottoms following a collapse of the tunnel.

This kind of behaviour seems some Distance away from what we expect of a leader. Fortunately the guy who got in instead has a moral compass (just joking). Solve the puzzle and you may find the secret door to his happy play space. Poor, poor Henry Tang, no one understands him, not even his wife.
