Geocache Description:

Ever since he won this complete cache at the Special "Geo-Friend" Play Date, he has been thinking hard about where it should go.  He finally made a decision the other day, with the declaration, "Mom, I want it to see trains."  The map was consulted and this location chosen!

Like many other little boys (and girls) he has been obsessed with trains from the get-go.  Thomas The Tank Engine got him started at a very young age, and we are still in possession of a collection of wooden goodies that, although no longer played with as constantly as they once were, are near and dear treasures.  I've been told they must hang around until I have Grandchildren.    Model trains have entered the picture and the obsession has traveled, with Papa having a collection for the Giggleboys' amusement (and his), too.  But no matter where we are, if there is a big machine making chug-chug noises and blowing a whistle, attention is focused on it.

To the west, a peacefully beautiful creek with contrasting lush and rocky banks stretches for viewing pleasure along one of the objects of his desire, the train track.  High across the road, even further west, if one is lucky, other trains can be spotted as well.  Not to mention the amazing bridge to the north/northwest that today allowed the seeing of six different choo-choo machines in the short time we were here!

Due to being above the valley and near all these noise making things, why "quiet" viewing?  Well that's simple.  Quiet is in the eye of the beholder, and the city sounds fade into the background when a person is surrounded by birds chirping, chipmunks squeaking, bugs making their weird noises and the wind blowing by.

**Please keep an eye on children and/or pets if you venture to the edge, it's a long way down!  But there is no need to be that daring to get to the prize.**

**In keeping with his reasons for this placement, he has donated a collected Raillink Wooden Token for the FTF.**

**Bring your own pen/pencil please!  We didn't have one on-hand small enough to put inside.**
