This is a micro located in Ernest Memorial Park in Kensington, MD. It is "hidden" in plain sight, but you will need an "eagle eye" to spot it.
Ernest Memorial Park in Kensington is the setting for an impressive memorial "Dedicated To Those From Kensington Who Served Their Country In The Armed Services". It is also the home of a huge oak eagle entitled "The Rising", which was carved on the spot "In Memory of Katie". Around the perimeter of the park are memorial stones placed in memory of past Kensingtonians, including one for the elderly couple, Craig and Pat Reynolds, who sadly perished when their house burned in the early hours of May 7, 2007. You could see their home across Connecticut Avenue from this very spot before it was destroyed.
