Many thanks to the Crown Point Road Association for placing this marker. Most of the markers on the Crown Point road were placed over 100 years ago by several chapters of the Daughterles of the American Revolution. If you follow the series and travel to the westward, you will see some remote but remarkable parts of western Vermont. Although no longer "Boondocks" ( a tribute to the business located just a few hundred feet from the cache) this
part of Vermont is less populated. Think of what it was like in the 1760s!!
