We driving past this Cemetery on our way to Orroroo and thinking what history does it hold. So on our way home we stopped and had a bit of a look.
Often you see these small country cemeteries and think nothing of it. But if you stop and spend some time reading the headstones you can get an idea of what things can be like for the people living in these areas. If you look around this one you will see graves from as far back as 1892 through to only a couple of years ago. Of course there are also a few unmarked graves so you never really know how long ago they are from.
This cache is just a small plastic container with a few small swaps placed near the carpark for the cemetry. I hope you can spend some time looking at the history of the area. As I am not from this area I had spent some time with chrispy89 and a few others cahcers at an event and he said he would be happy to do any maintenace on caches we place in the area, So thanks for that.
