Ryder Woods Traditional Cache
oasieggr: I haven't been a student at SVSU for four years now and I now live two hours away. Archiving because I don't have the time for the necessary maintenance.

When we first began geocaching, we were surprised to see that this area had hardly any geocaches. So, as this semester has ended we decided to make a few of our own, including this one. This particular geocache, and the buildings and playing fields surrounding it, are nearby Native American burial grounds. This is commemorated on a tribute nearby the geocache and a newly placed buffalo/Native American statue in the gardens across campus. Happy adventuring! :)
This geocache is hidden in the woods surrounding the Ryder center. If attempting to find the geocache during weekdays or school hours you may have some issues finding parking because of the large commuter population present at the univeristy. So, the best places to park for this geocache would be lot R and lot C, as they are free parking. These can be found at the information center turn off immediately after the main entrance of the university. While we were hiding this cache we did come across a little poison ivy, so please be careful. The cache is hidden "lowly."
