Near intersection of I-4 and 301. Just east of Tampa Bay. 63 feet altitude. Very easy walk and terrain. Might be a little wet in heavy rainy season.

A 1,630-foot-long boardwalk lets visitors traverse the park's hardwood swamp and the spring that gives it its name, when it is flowing.
It is a 31-acre park.
The park is the only botanical garden in the Hillsborough parks system.
The site was developed into a botanical garden by Albert Greenburg, who donated it to the county park system in 1967 and stipulated it must remain a verdant retreat.
The park has the state's largest public collection of ferns, with more than 60 varieties. It features a greenhouse, trellised walks, educational trails, a picnic area, and, of course, a cache!
Being that this is the very first cache we've ever placed years ago, it's a very easy and straight-forward one. You have some choices here: head straight for the cache from the parking lot, to the right, OR enjoy the gardens, greenhouse, and short nature walks in the park that lead you to the head of a spring before finding the cache. From SR301 follow the airport signs. The park is on the left before the airport. The hours are 8am to 6pm. There is a $2 entry fee.
Items in the cache are assorted. You'll have to find it for an inventory! Hide it well and Happy Hunting!
