VP1 (2011) – Variety of Cache Containers
VP2 (2012) – Variety of Field Puzzles and “Special Tools Required”
VP3 (2013) – Variety of Cache Types and Container Sizes In One Day
Many Geocachers have "Pimped their Profile" using aditional statistics from third party providers. Two of these statistics are "Most Cache Types" and "Most Container Sizes" in a single day. That's what VP3 is going for this time!!!
Here’s what we are planning:
For the Humble:
You can log up to 8 kinds of caches without leaving Leslie (New Leslie Area Caches)
-An Event Cache
-A Cito Event (GC4F945)
-ATraditional Cache
-A Multi Cache
-An Unknown (puzzle) Cache
-A Letterbox Hybrid cache
-A Wherigo Cache (Device Needed)
-A Benchmark (these are not new)
|
Road Trips
In addition to the above caches, you can log VIRTUAL, EARTH and WEBCAM Caches by taking a road trip.
(We can’t do everything foryou! There are several trips to choose from. Each trip will include information to find the following.)
|
|
For the Adventurous:
Within 20 miles of Leslie you can find the following cache types:
-Virtuals
-Earthcaches
-Benchmarks
(in case you have previously logged all of the Leslie Benchmarks)
|
|
For the HARD CORE Cachers:
There is one more type of cache you can add to your day...a WEBCAM cache.
There are 3 of them in operation within a 2 hour drive of Leslie.
For each WebCam, we have created a Google Map route that includes
-The WebCam
-Virtuals
- EarthCaches, and
-Benchmarks
that can be found along the way. You will need to log ONE of each.
Choose one of the web cams, pack the vehicle with a group of friends, and DO IT!
