A small multi cache through the heart of Cupar. BYO pencil, just enough room for initials.
Cache is not at the coordinates. To find the right coordinates, walk through the town following a loop from the car park and back, and look at the clues to note down numbers. The trail will not take more than 1/2h. You can park at the Bonnygate car park (charge may apply) where the trail starts.
Start at the Bonnygate car park, walk right through, exit through the lane to the South, a small passage at the back: Kirkgate. At what number is Chapelknowe? (A= number -7)
As you come out of the Kirkgate, you will se the Old Parish Centre straight in front of you, how many brown doors do you see either side of the church?
B=(number -2)
Turn left (East) into KirK Wynd, walk down towards the city centre, past a fine early 19th century town house on the left : Winthank House. Carry on until you find the Duncan Library, the date is 19?5
C=(number -2)
Turn left (North) into the Crossgate, walk up towards the Mercat Cross, read on the plaque: "...it was re-erected here on the 22 June 189?
D=(number +1)
Look up towards the pink building, the date around the clock on top of the domed roof reads: 189?
E=(number -1)
Turn left (West) up the Bonnygate and enjoy all the old listed buildings along the way, find the Freemasons Hall at the corner of the entrance to the Bonnygate car park again. What is the date below the clock? 181?
