This sculpture, and the other two on the site (a cow and her calf), were built by the property owner and rest on ball joints, so they move with the wind, although not necessarily like weather vanes. They are grazing in a patch of Wisconsin Prairie that is undergoing restoration. In the back of the property there is also an area of oak savannah. The coordinates are the result of a 200 sample, but once you get to GZ that hardly matters as you will know the places to look.
