Geocache Description:

This is a canoe cache. Might be possible to approach this one by chest waders or by walking on ice in winter, but it would be quite a trek.

We went for a canoe expedition on the Thames River from the Springbank Park dam to the Delaware Conservation Area. It was about 15 km and took 4 hours. We hid four caches along the way at several islands in the river.
This cache is hidden in a tree on the island. It is held in place with a rope so that it won't get lost when the water level is high. Bravo to cc cache! For find #1000!
