Geocache Description:

This cache will take you through the Bluebird Meadow, a recent addition to Red Top Mountain state park. We came up to camp and take care of a couple of scout projects. Placing a geocache and hanging a birdhouse. Thankfully we were able to do both today. 

Please use stealth and be sure to place the cache back as well or better than you found it as it is a high muggle area.

This cache is located inside of Red Top Mountain State Park. A parking pass ($5/day or $40/year) is required. I also recommend that you stop at the park office as there are lots of interesting things to see (and bathrooms & water fountain.) As you enter the Bluebird Meadow (You can go around or through the park office) you'll notice a bird attracting garden. This area attracts several types of birds native to the red top area, including our favorite, the Eastern Bluebird. The cache is located just a few feet from the paved path. Hopefully you'll enjoy the scenic walk through the area.
