This is our first cache, placed with kind permission of Norfolk Gliding Club. An easy cache and dash, with plenty of room for trackables and swapables. Easy parking and if you venture further up the track, you are welcome at the clubhouse for refreshments, and a great place to sit for a while and watch the gliders and power aircraft.
If you stay a while you may be lucky enough to see a glider or two flying round in circles - they do this inside bubbles of air (thermals) which they use to gain height. At Tibenham, the gliders are launched by winch and by aerotow, and may stay up for a few hours using the thermals. Please take notice of the signs around the airfield, but stay awhile and enjoy the art of silent flight. *congratulations to Rusty Arrow for FTF*
