Geocache Description:

Beware of the Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos and Boy Scouts entering and leaving camp. There is a fair amount of traffic on weekends so be careful attempting to get a smiley on this. BYOP just in case.

Having visited a handful of the scout camps here in the Northern Star Council I have found most of them have a cache located outside them along the perimeter. I was pleasantly surprised to not find one listed for Phillippo Scout Reservation. This scout camp is located just south of the Twin Citites and cache is hidden with permission from camp ranger.

Originally called the Cannon River Scout Reservation, the Phillippo Scout Reservation was renamed in 2000 to recognize Ron Phillippo who served as the Council Scout Executive for 22 years. Since its opening in 1964, Phillippo and its 450 acres of rolling fields, wooded campsites and hills overlooking the Cannon River valley.
